NSM and Chumpot-Phantip Foundtaion Launch “Nature of Wang Takrai National Park, Vol 1” to Expand Research Proficiency and Inspire New Generation in Conserving Nature

National Science Museum (NSM) and Chumpot-Phantip Foundtaion have introduced a new book; “Nature of Wang Takrai National Park, Volume 1”, a compilation of knowledge in natural science and biodiversity in the areas of Wang Ta Krai National Park. The book aims to present and transfer values of natural resources to public.  Mr.Suwarong Wongsiri, Acting President of NSM and Assoc.Prof. Dr. M.L. Pinitbhand Paribatra, committee of the Foundation opened the book launch ceremony with Dr.Ganigar Chen, NSM Vice President, executives, academics and staff from both organizations on June 15, 2026 at Wang Ta Krai Park, Nakhon Nayok Province.  

Mr.Suwarong Wongsiri said “NSM aims to promote science learning alongside environmental and natural resource conservation’s awareness. We believe that valuable learning is not limited only in museums or learning centers, but can also through direct experiences in nature and the community. The book “Nature of Wang Takrai National Park, Volume 1” is therefore another crucial media that conveys knowledge of natural history and ecosystems to the public with easy-to-understand content and attractive illustrations. It helps to inspire and cultivate a sense of nature conservation among readers of all ages.”

Assoc.Prof. Dr. M.L. Pinitbhand Paribatra said “The Chumpot-Phanthip Foundation has consistently prioritized promoting learning in science, natural history, and environment. The collaboration between NSM and the Foundation will be another step in escalating Wang Takrai into a living ‘Natural Room’ for youth and the public to learn about nature through real-world experiences. The book serves as a bridge connecting research knowledge to the society, offering enjoyment while simultaneously instilling awareness and appreciation for natural resources in the next generation.”

The book “Nature of Wang Takrai National Park, Volume 1” represents a collaboration between academic and the social sector in disseminating knowledge of natural history to a wider public.
